Today, Square-Enix has released two new websites for Final Fantasy XIII, for both North America and Europe. The main object of interest is a counter for 6 days, which means that they plan to reveal some info on the 27th or 28th of January.
Could this coincide with previous words from Wada stating that he wanted to make the gap between the other regions smaller, and release games simultaneously across regions? The European site has this small sentence on it, “The countdown has begun. A new vision will soon be revealed to the world. Register now to ensure you’re there for the unveiling.” Some snooping within the flash of American site reveals that there is a link to a trailer currently not active, so it’s most likely a new trailer that we’ve yet to see.

Although it was released that FFXIII would get a demo in Japan for March of next year, something that has recently surfaced is that Enterbrain (Famitsu publisher) is planning to release a DVD/Magazine bundle under the name of Re: FINAL FANTASY XIII. In the description from Amazon Japan, it is a “recolection” and “revival” of the events from DKΣ3713, and possibly TGS. It will have footage from the staff talking about the game, why is the “reply.” The magazine will have images and art, while the DVD will be about 60 minutes with promos and play animations.
