Generation Next Change!

Calling all artists and people who like to be an artist just for fun!

There is a Generation Next change that is going to happen. What I propose for the section, is that any member of Final Fantasy Next can just Private Message me, Presto, with artwork, signatures, and writings. Your work doesn’t have to be new, it can be old. The section is practically dead, and I want to liven it up. So, instead of having our members go through very long weeks of waiting on your work to win in a contest, we will just stop the contests and just let you have fun. So, if you come by FFNext frequently, feel free to sign up and submit your work.

Welcome to the new version of Final Fantasy Next, Final Fantasy Next Version 2.0. You will notice many significant changes to the layout, and up to date information on all the games that we cover. All of this this wouldn’t have been possible without the team of hateradio and Presto. Together, we made a fantastic site that we hope that you will enjoy using for a long time. It took us quite a bit of time to put together both of our ideas, but we were able to accomplish what we wanted, and the final result is what you see here today. Look around the site, post on the forums, and make yourselves at home. If you experience any difficulties or bugs, please message either hateradio or Presto. With a new site comes new glitches, but we hope that they are at a minimum and we also hope that you enjoy your stay at the freshly redesigned Final Fantasy Next. Enjoy!

Happy Birthday FFNEXT!

Last year is when hateradio and I put Final Fantasy NEXT up onto the internet. We launched the site on June 9th, 2008, and since then we have accumulated 98 members, and over 20,000 posts in our community. That’s a huge thing to say for a site that is so new that has an obscure name. We would like to take the time to celebrate this day, and to thank all of the members that signed up and the ones who have stuck around and posted when they had the time. Without you, Final Fantasy NEXT members, this site wouldn’t be where it’s at today, so thank you. To show our appreciation, we are working on a project that will excite you and hopefully keep you interested from it’s release to years from now. We have not completed the project, but we will be done this summer, so make sure to stay and wait for the project to be revealed. Until then, continue having fun posting, and have a great summer.

FFVIIACC + FFXIII Demo In April

Recently, Square-Enix has released new information regarding both Final Fantasy Advent Children Complete and Final Fantasy XIII’s demo. In their page, they have the following information about the release of the movie:

FINAL FANTASY VII ADVENT CHILDREN COMPLETE
Release Date: 2009/04/16

1.　“Cloud Black”　HDD 160GB + FINAL FANTASY XIII Trial Version Set
Price： 49,980 yen (Inc. Tax)
2. FINAL FANTASY XIII Trial Version Set　（for PLAYSTATION® 3）
Price： 5,900 yen (Inc. Tax)
3.　Standard Edition
Price： 4,900 yen (Inc. Tax)

The PS3 bundle of the movie and game will be about $550, the film and demo pack is $65, and on its own will be $55. The movie will be about 126 minutes and will have both English and Japanese voices, but only Japanese subtitles, for those who are interested.

The Signature of the Week has begun! If you like making signatures, then you have the option to enter your signature in the first SOTW of Final Fantasy NEXT! Be a part of history, you know you want to. So, make a signature with the theme of the week and submit it. You must read and then submit your signature before the deadline in the thread below this this news article. Thank you Final Fantasy NEXT member xiitharn for making the thread!

Signature of the Week is something that is fun. It lets you be creative and show others your work. Plus, if what you entered wins, the feeling is amazing. Also, for extra incentive for entering your siganture, you get to have your signature appear on the members page which is located on the page whenever you click the Generation-NEXT tab on the right, and then S.O.T.W.

Rather late, but better late than never. The People’s Choice voting has now begun! So, hurry up and get your votes cast! It’s fast and fun. Remember, whoever wins in the categories, which can be multiple people by the way, gets their usernames presented in the Awards section of Generation-NEXT (the tab on the right). Welcome to the brand new Final Fantasy NEXT! The new place to find next-generation Final Fantasy information. This site consists of three main parts: Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy Versus XIII, and Generation-NEXT. In Final Fantasy XIII, there is information pertaining to the game. The information ranges from Story to Music. In Final Fantasy Versus XIII, it’s the same as Final Fantasy XIII, but just with less information since less is known about this game. In Generation-NEXT, there’s competitions that only registered members can take part in.
