The amount of discs that Final Fantasy XIII will come on has now been revealed to be 3 discs. This news comes from GameFly, which states “NOTE: This is a three disc game, but it only counts as one disc against your rental plan”. So, if you have plans on renting this game instead of buying it, no worries about it costing you extra cause of the extra discs. Also, a Square rep got in contact with VG247 and also stated that the Xbox 360 version of Final Fantasy XIII will indeed be 3 discs, “Yes the game is on three DVDs for the 360.” Another tidbit from the Square rep about the Xbox 360 version is that, “Players will only have to swap discs twice during their entire game.”
