Game & Battle System
Armory system is the new name for the game system. With this new system you can choose to switch equipment when you see fit. So, if a character needs to be healed, they can change to a healer and heal themselves. The battle system will be different than Final Fantasy XI's battle system. Battles progress in real-time, and there's more to consider in battle than targeting an enemy and just attacking it.
Aetheryte is the name of the transportation system in the game. A character can go up to an aetheryte and transport to a near or far away place in a matter of moments. It is not a good thing to use aetheryte all the time to go from place to place, because it takes a toll on the body of the character, and it can even lead to irreversible damage to the body. Most city-states discourage over-teleporting.
Guildleves are in the game, and this is a system which enables a character to do monster hunting and quests. These guildleves are rectangular plates made of stained crystal set into a frame of precious metal. If a character is unable to enter a restricted level, a guildleve will allow them to enter it, if it is required to complete a job. The tasks could be completed solo, or with companions in the game.
Disciplines will be a part of the armory system in the game. A player can choose to be one of the following: Disciples of War, Disciples of Magic, Disciples of the Land, or Disciples of the Hand. Disciples of War: Archer, Lancer, Gladiator, Marauder, Pugilist. Disciples of Magic: Thaumaturge. Disciples of the Land: Botanist. Disciples of the Hand: Alchemist, Blacksmith, Culinarian, Tanner, and Weaver.
