You probably got the Tungsten Bangles don't you? Well, the Mithral Bangles are the best ones, and you can get it in the shop. Just look for the shop, forgot it's name, that sells accessories. The Titanium Bangles give you 300 HP extra, and the Mithral Bangles give you 400 HP extra. And, of course, you can upgrade them, and equip more than one if you get the Accessory nodes in the Crystarium. But, yeah, both bangles are in a store in the save spot.

I'm currently in Chapter 12, and hateradio and I both agree that it's like amazing. I think it actually looks like a different game kind of tacked on to another. Like, there was a CG scene that took place before Chapter 12 and it was so so good, then the environments themselves look good. I'm having trouble with a boss, though, the Proudclad boss. So very annoying. Probably the most annoying boss in the game.

There's actual lighting elements, contrast, and vibrancy. This is the way the rest of the game should have been, instead of a low textured boring mess :/

I'm in the final chapter too as well, hehe. The forced grinding is getting a bit on my nerves, but I guess the reason is cause I want to see the end of it. I can't wait to see what the final boss and the ending is like.

I just got to the Waterscape! Yey! I finally got it!!! I shall give a full critique when I finish the game...but I will say one thing.....I beat disk one in 8 hours? Um....what?!?!?!

And I loved the music in Sunleth Waterscape!

Oh, and i've just made it to Gran Pulse! I'm pretty glad as the Ark was starting to bore me.

I love the Sunleth waterscape . Probs my fav location in the game. I like the ability to change weather.e

Oerba has the best music ever. I loveee that song.

Ehhm. 11, or whatever chapter it is where you first arrive in Gran Pulse. I don't want to rush through and finish the game, I'd rather take my time and smell the flowers and so on...

I'm at Ma'harba (or something like that...tunnel / caves with loads of mechanical monsters in). I've just farmed loaaads of CP before I went in there! And now I'm going to stay here for a while as I noticed the robot and bomb-like monsters drop mechanical components which give a lot of EXP when upgrading weapons.

I haven't posted here in awhile, but I have rented FFXIII and I have been pleasantly surprised. It's a great game even though I was skeptical. The battle system is awesome, the story is surprisingly engaging, and the characters (for the most part) are memorable. I'm going to buy it as soon as I am able (I've played for 17 hours so far and I've only rented it).

Unless the game gets a lot worse, then this is an awesome game that came out of left field for me personally. I thought FF was dead (for me) since FFX (which I didn't care for).

Kitase was involved with Final Fantasy X and X-2 I believe. The director of Final Fantasy XIII worked on Final Fantasy VII. I could have that wrong, though.

I thought Kitase was director of FFVII as well? Or am I thinking of another person?

Anyway, I never believed that anything the FFX team touched meant that I wouldn't like the game. My problems with FFX can be discussed another day. I would discuss FFXIII more but I want to beat it so I can get some more complete impressions.
