Did anybody else see this on the news yesterday? I was just having a casual conversation with my mums boyfriend in the front room, when this came on the news. I just went silent and couldn't believe what I was actually seeing on TV. I swear my heart actually sunk. That baby was soooo, sooooooooooooo lucky to have survived.

The link I am posting is from Australian TV, not BBC which I seen it on:

I SAW IT AND IT COMPLETELY FREAKED ME OUT. In case I never believed in God before, right then was a pretty damn good reminder. My jaw dropped. Literally.

Yeah, it was something really shocking. It was luck beyond the imaginable, although the slow speed on which the train came out may have been a factor.

@Hulla: My jaw also dropped.

@Dawn: Yea, it wasn'y going overly fast, but the baby was still pushed 30 metres across the track (I think that's what it said). To be pushed all that way and to only get away with a little bit of bruising? OMG. Thanks god it wasn't travelling any faster though...

thats pretty amazing, im glad it was ok...but still angry at the parents who neglected it...

i once heard of some baby that fell off the 7th floor balcony of an apartment and the diaper absorbed all the impact somehow and the baby survived
